"We are honored and excited to be involved with supporting the ROCK as we share their vision for the young people of our community. Being fortunate to have been involved with the creation of the ROCK many years ago, it is so great to see the impact this organization is making today in our community and how they are changing lives of our youth. We invite you to join us in financially supporting the ROCK and enabling them to be even more impactful tomorrow."

Thank you Deloitte!
Deloitte LLP and the Great Lakes Loons held a season-long "Ks for Kids" fundraiser that contributed $5 for every strikeout by a Loons pitcher to five local agencies working with area children. Pictured is Richard Herlin of Deloitte presenting a check for $1,173.00 to Bev Wenzel, our Executive Director as a result of the 2013 baseball season.

The ROCK Center for Youth Development receives $50,000 from the Midland Area Community Foundation
$50,000 grant to be used for Afterschool Programs
The Midland Area Community Foundation has awarded more than $650,000 as part of its new grant program called IMPACT Grants, along with its regular quarterly grants.
The MACF recently completed an extensive needs assessment process for all of Midland County. Thirteen top needs were identified as part of the study. In an attempt to bring awareness to and begin meeting those needs, MACF debuted the IMPACT Grants program.
"It's been a very busy quarter," said MACF President and CEO Sharon Mortensen. "In addition to approving just over $250,000 for our regular quarterly grants, we utilized all $400,000 which was allotted for this special Impact Grant program."
The ROCK Center for Youth Development received $50,000 to support After School Programming. The ROCK after school program will provide 174 days of quality after school programming to Jefferson, Northeast and Bullock Creek Middle Schools.
