STENZEL ROCKS - October 28, 2008, 7:00 pm - Bullock Creek High School Auditorium
The ROCK Youth Center Presents Pam Stenzel, renowned sexual health educator. Pam is a dynamic, charismatic, and educated expert on sex, love and relationships. She travels both domestically and internationally speaking to over 50,000 teens a year. In a captivating and inspiring talk, Pam tackles the tough issues of sex with candor, insight and humor, while challenging young people to embrace the benefits of abstinence. Pam will be speaking Monday - Friday - October 27-31 at school assemblies in Bullock Creek, Saginaw, Sanford, Clare, Coleman, Beaverton and Freeland. A SPECIAL EVENING PRESENTATION will be held TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28 AT 7:00 P.M. AT BULLOCK CREEK HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM. 1420 S. Badour Rd., Midland. This special evening presentation is FREE and for all teens (7-12 grade) who didn't hear Pam at their schools, parents, educators, counselors, professionals, and community leaders. The Midland Daily News will also be at the ROCK on this evening to the cover the ROCK's latest adventure - the ROCK Climbing Wall!

Thrivent Financial Rocks the Park - July 26, 2008, 12:00 pm - Chipawassee Park
Come on down to Chippawassee Park by the Tridge for this great family fun day! We are partnering with Thrivent Financial to bring Christian artists Caedmon's Call and Lanae Hale, as well as some great local acts. Don't miss KC and the Glowworms at noon! For you skateboarders out there, grab your boards and get to Trilogy skatepark for a demonstration and competition starting at 1pm. Registration for the competition begins at 12:30. Also included in the day will be inflatables, games, and a rock climbing wall! The best part is that it is all free!
